Petek® is a smart maintenance station developed by ARA Robotics for the ARI autonomous floor maintenance robot. Petek® purifies the graywater collected by ARI using ARA Robotics’ patented multi-stage filtration and reverse osmosis (RO) technology, allowing the same water to be safely reused up to ten times without compromising cleaning performance. The automated treatment process continuously removes suspended particles, contaminants and impurities, ensuring a reliable supply of recycled water for subsequent cleaning cycles.

By reducing fresh water consumption by up to 90%, the system significantly lowers water and wastewater costs while supporting environmentally responsible facility operations. Beyond its operational benefits, the patented greywater recovery system helps organizations achieve their sustainability objectives, contributes to ESG initiatives, supports green building certifications such as LEED and minimizes the environmental impact of large-scale floor maintenance.

Intelligent Water Management
Fully automated filling, drainage and filtration.

Fully Autonomous Water Management: The Petek unit performs fresh water intake, dirty water drainage, and brush washing processes entirely on its own, without human intervention. It monitors the contamination levels in the robot’s gray water tank and adjusts the filtration speed accordingly. Detergent Dosing: The unit includes a 5-liter detergent reservoir and a dosage pump that fills the tanks directly, ensuring the optimization of resources. This system allows the ARI robot to operate as a true “set and forget” unit, maximizing operational efficiency.

Hot Water Cleaning System
Enhanced cleaning performance with preheated water up to 45°C.

The optional hot water system preheats clean water to up to 45°C, significantly improving the removal of grease, oils and stubborn contaminants without increasing mechanical wear. By enhancing the effectiveness of the cleaning process, it helps reduce the amount of detergent required while delivering superior cleaning results across a wide range of floor types.

Ideal for manufacturing facilities, healthcare environments, commercial kitchens, food production areas and other hygiene-critical applications, the hot water system supports higher sanitation standards and improves overall cleaning efficiency. Combined with ARI’s intelligent cleaning algorithms and precise chemical dosing, it provides a more effective, sustainable and cost-efficient floor maintenance solution.

ARI continuously monitors its own battery level, water supply and maintenance requirements, making intelligent decisions without operator intervention. When integrated with the Petek® Smart Maintenance Station, the robot automatically returns whenever necessary to recharge its battery, refill clean water, discharge wastewater, clean its brushes and prepare itself for the next scheduled task.
